Musical Fun for Everyone!
The musicians in Breakin' Steel came together in November 2021, to launch original singer Leigh Hutchins in Murfreesboro and Nashville Tennessee. They bonded over their shared passions for Classic Rock & Country, Modern Country & Originals, Danceable Good Times Music! Each member brings a unique musical aesthetic to the band and over the last year, they have grown comfortable jumping genres and mashing up influences. They've recently moved on when Leigh left the band to pursue her solo career, and new singer Kiki Rey brings a bluesy voice to add influences like Tracy Chapman and others to our show.
Born of Love for Music
Starting out, the idea of living the road band life was the last thing on their minds. They want all the local gigs, to build momentum and a following, and grow Local Live Music opportunities.
They are seasoned professionals, who just want to keep playing and growing, writing and expressing through the Language of the Soul.
Looking to the Future
After a smashing debut with Kiki Rey, breakin' Steel is filling up their calendar quickly, with dates at local venues within an hour of Nashville.
